This Privacy Policy explains what information SwankageTCG collects, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, buy or sell cards, communicate with another member, contact support, join a wishlist, leave a review, or use other marketplace features. Depending on how you use SwankageTCG, this may include your name, username, email address, phone number, shipping or billing address, profile information, vendor information, order and transaction details, messages, reviews, wishlist activity, listing details, and card photos or other images you upload.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, and security or diagnostic logs needed to operate and protect the marketplace.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain accounts, operate marketplace features, process orders, support customer and vendor communication, calculate shipping, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, improve the site, maintain security, send account or marketplace notifications, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use marketplace activity to personalize features such as your profile, wishlist, recent purchases, vendor dashboard, and recommendations.

3. Public Marketplace Information

Your public profile is meant to be seen by other collectors.

Information you choose to make public—or that is inherently part of marketplace participation—may be visible to other users. This can include your username, avatar, profile banner, public profile details, reviews, vendor/storefront information, active listings, wishlist cards, collector interests, and recent collector activity.

SwankageTCG does not display a member's private shipping or billing address, private contact information, payment credentials, or the exact amount a member paid for a purchase as part of the public collector profile.

4. When Information Is Shared

We may share information when it is necessary to provide the marketplace, such as with the customer or vendor involved in a transaction, payment processors, shipping or delivery providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, email or notification services, fraud-prevention and security providers, analytics providers, and other vendors that help operate SwankageTCG. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the marketplace, or legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers for money.

5. Payments, Orders & Shipping

Payment transactions may be handled by third-party payment providers such as PayPal. SwankageTCG may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amounts, and other information needed to complete or reconcile a marketplace order, but payment providers may collect and process payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Shipping information may be shared with vendors and shipping-service providers when needed to fulfill an order, create a label, provide tracking, or resolve a delivery issue.

6. Cookies & Similar Site Data

SwankageTCG may use cookies, local storage, session data, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as your selected site theme, maintain carts and checkout sessions, protect forms and accounts, measure site performance, and support other core marketplace functions. Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some site features may not work correctly without them.

7. Security & Data Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect account and marketplace information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the marketplace, maintain transaction and account records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or financial recordkeeping requirements.

8. Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You can update many account, profile, address, notification, newsletter, and public-profile settings from your SwankageTCG account. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights that may apply under the laws where you live. Some information may need to be retained when required for completed transactions, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or legitimate marketplace records.

9. Children's Privacy

SwankageTCG is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents or legal guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SwankageTCG changes or as legal and operational requirements evolve. The current version will be posted on this page with its revision date. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
