Graded Cards

What is the difference between raw and graded cards?

A raw card is a card that has not been encapsulated and assigned a grade by a professional grading company. A graded card is typically sealed in a holder with a stated grading company and grade.

When reviewing a graded listing, check the grading company, stated grade, card identity, and photographs of the actual item.

A catalog market value for an ungraded printing should not automatically be treated as the value of a graded copy.
